I don’t know about you, but I’ve had a very eventful year thus far! I’ve connected with old friends I haven’t seen in years, am really taking the time to nourish body/soul/spirit connection and developing my business ideas has been the adventure of a lifetime!

I know I have shared quite a bit of information with you in past posts and believe in the power of just allowing one to take it all in. There is always a period of repetition, retention and growth needed before one moves on to the next phase of insight.

I will be sending you frequent short and sweet messages from time to time, letting you know what I am up to and how things are progressing on my end.

We are in the the process of developing several fun free gifts for your enjoyment and personal growth. .We are also launching a small, intimate community where we can swap notes about life in the here and now while listening to some inspiring music and watching some amazing movie shorts together. There will be much more to come.

The magical world of the Pareto Abstracts awaits…

I’m writing this post from the beautiful city of Lake Arrowhead. It is really amazing just staring at the trees and watching the sky slowly turn to dusk as the wind blows softly through the trees. I had a great period of meditation and reflection today. There’s a great book called Inspirations for Daily Living: The Promise of Hope by Wallis C. Metts, Larry James Peacock and Randy Peterson that has been especially uplifting. I’m also reading Quantum Success for the third time and various excerpts from the book of Isaiah. Love writing in my journal and sending lots of love to the universe; to YOU!

This week, I am going to create a wonderful vision board expressing my personal paragon in living color. If you have a bit of time, you can create one on your own. Here’s the link to a site that will help you get started on your virtual journey to your highest and best self.

I’d love to hear about your experiences with these tools and your daily insights. Feel free to share.

Behind the Scenes Footage!

Tasch and YOU!

What a fun story! You think? I am always amazed and inspired when reminded of how much each of us truly possess in the way of powerful talents, strengths and abilities. The only thing many of us lack is an awareness of the 20% of our internal riches that account for 80% of our experiences and physical manifestation. We are in want of the focus, discernment and self-mastery required to make it all a REAL, LIVING and BREATHING entity in the here and now!

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself before we continue on our journey through the internal acres and acres of diamonds within our hearts and minds on to ultimate levels of LOVE, JOY, HEALTH, WELLNESS and FINANCIAL FREEDOM. I’m on that journey right now myself and am delighted to share that journey with you.

My furry little friend, Third Mouse is a little shy. He’s got to warm up a bit before opening up. Perhaps you guys can encourage him to step out and share his story. Post a comment and get him to participate a bit more! He’s been out of the spotlight for a while and is inching his way back into the public eye. Any words of inspiration would be greatly appreciated by us!

Well..my name is Tasch and my personal mission is to be an example of love and character while teaching others to do the same. It was once said long ago that when one teaches they often learn a greater lesson than that of the student. It’s an amazing way to learn and grow. It’s also the ultimate position to be in as far as accountability is concerned. When you put yourself “out there” you are open to feedback from the universe in ways that can cut the learning curve more than in half if you are open to receive and implement it in your day to day life.

I am a singer, performing artist and writer who specializes in the integration of personal development principles, products and services into artistic media and scientific frameworks. I am an entrepreneurial entertainment professional.

What does all of that mean? Well…let’s take the Acres of Diamonds piece you just experienced. This was an abstract I wrote based on the world famous speech written by Russell Conwell, Founder of Temple University in the early 1800′s.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Conwell

http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/rconwellacresofdiamonds.htm

My passion is to take speechs, books, products and services from many well known, loved and respected personal development experts and present a fresh 80/20 arti-scientifical perspective using artistic and scientific principles as metaphors and analogies to make it all make more sense in terms of our emotions in the here and now. In a nutshell, my micro, mini area of expertise is the emotional intelligence!

Many people under value the role this area plays in their happiness, success and overall quality of life. “Brian Tracy says that he spent over 4,000 hours studying the works of just two men in order to understand how negative emotions sabotage our happiness and joy in life. That’s right – 4,000 hours spent on improving just one aspect of his life!” Robert Ringer

What I do is review the information, wisdom and knowledge shared, glean the common factors that work in alignment with promoting one’s personal paragon or self-ideal (see blog post 1 for further clarification) and create a fun, comedic and experiential type version that is easy to understand, implement and embrace. I look for only 20% of the ideas, strategies and philosophies that will generally make the greatest impact and create a fun story around it. I then promote specific personal development products, services and programs on the market that further cultivate the 20% identified. What a blast!

Each person has their own 20%, believe me, but there are main specific areas of focus that people miss out on or are not made aware of in every book they read, coaching program they sign-up for or product they purchase that promise them the results they are going for.

I will reveal the reasons for this next time we speak.

Remember our last quote from Russell Conwell, ““If you wish to be great at all, you must begin with where you are and what you are.” Listen, I’m not sharing things with you that you haven’t heard before. There is really nothing new under the sun. My goal is to bring things to your attention that will help you better apply the stuff you already have stored up in your psyche. To use your experience and already existing stores of potential to bring your vision to life. I enable, enhance, collaborate and integrate. Teamwork makes the dream work, right?

Everyone is starting from a different place in life. Are you deeply in debt? Doing what you can to make ends meet but are having a hard time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel? Are you “unemployed”? Great! I love working with people on unemployment! It gets really personal. I’ll reveal more in my upcoming newsletter series. Be sure to sign up right away if you really want to know the skinny about me! Let’s have some fun! I don’t care where you are at right now, we can do this. The world is a rainbow. Hope and promise are on the horizon.

I am currently a self-proclaimed Simpleology Extraordinaire, which by the way, is a fantastic and fun tool that cultivates focus, clarity and character. You can sign up for a free account here, and tell them Tasch sent you.

www.simpleology.com

In one of my lessons, Mark Joyner, Founder of Simpleology made a significant observation. “A sad but true point is that most people who purchase personal development materials simply don’t use them.” Books, CDs, Webinars, Coaching programs…you name it. The biggest challenge is sticking it out to completion and intelligently identifying and applying our internal resources, authentic power and attention to reach the goals and objectives we set for ourselves.

We’re going to have some engaging and exciting “rubber meets the road” discussions throughout this series, so stay tuned.

Meanwhile, I wanted to get you started with your own source of shorts that get to the point of many of the business and self-growth books on the market. Try this 80/20 thing out for yourself on your own. Go to my first blog post. Identify your own personal paragon and purchase a great book you already own or that you feel will support your goals in terms of that paragon from this great business book executive summary service.
Third Mouse Blind: Acres of Diamonds is a fun and contemporary abstract that embodies the power of personal development, perspective and the vast resources buried within the gardens of our hearts, minds, and spirits.

Cast of Characters:

Third Mouse Blind

Russ

Old Arab guy

Old Persian guy

Ancient Buddhist guy

The farmer

You

Russ decided to go down the Tigris and Euphrades river with some of his English friends. They hired this old Arab guy in Baghdad who was leading his camel by its halter down that ancient river. After some time had passed, they began to engage in small talk about life in the desert, camels, and the latest oasis resort golf tournament.

As their conversation progressed, the old Arab guy swung his Turkish cap in like, a circle and began to confide to Russ with voice lowered and eyes twinkling under a middle eastern moon. “This,” he whispered, “ I save these stories for my particular friends!”

Russ looked at him mysteriously, but eager to learn more. “Listen,” he said a bit louder. “An old Persian guy owned a farm near the River Indus. His land was filled with ancient Persian orchards, grain fields, and lavish gardens. He had a beautiful family and enjoyed many moons of prosperity on that fertile soil.

An ancient Buddhist guy from the East came to visit the old Persian guy one evening. As they sat by the fire, the old Buddhist guy began to speak.

“The world began as a bank of fog which then transformed into this big ball of fire! From the fire mountains, hills, valleys, plains and prairies were created. All was black and dark all over the world! Well…the molten mass that cooled quickly turned into granite, less quickly copper, less quickly into silver and the slowest to be formed turned into diamonds.

Third Mouse Blind-Did you know that a diamond is really a deposit of carbon from the sun? A congealed drop of sunlight.
After the old Persian guy heard about how valuable these “congealed drops of sunlight” were, he became very sorrowful. The old Persian guy compared what he had in terms of material wealth with what he could have if only he had a diamond mind. Suddenly, all of his prosperity and abundance slowly went down the drain in his mind’s eye. Although he had much—it now seemed as if he had nothing at all.

Then the ancient Buddhist guy said, “Why don’t you leave this place and go on a quest. You can find yourself some diamonds in a river that runs between the two high mountains across the sea. The diamonds are calling you. You have nothing to lose and absolutely everything to gain!

The old Persian guy thought about this for a moment. “My family and I work this land day in and day out. We are happy and well fed, but how long will this really last? —I mean—there is noting more we can get out of these fields. Just the same ole thing year in and year out. What if there were a famine, or even worse, a plague? What if the sky refused to shower us with the life giving waters that keep our gardens nourished and plentiful. This news is too much to bear! I must go and find my fortune!”

The old Persian guy sold his farm, collected the money and left his family in charge of a neighbor. He packed his bags with food, clothing and a few other odds and ends, grabbed a shovel and bucket and began his journey toward the Mountains of the Moon. As he crossed the farm, now owned by his successor, he kept tripping on these strange black rocks on the way to the old country road. “Argh!” he exclaimed with annoyance. “I know I made the right decision leaving this place. Many rocks and stones in the soil are a sure sign of hard, barren land in the making.”

His travels took him from Palestine to Europe. He dug and dug beneath the sands of time only to reveal the earth under the white grains. Many cold, dark and lonely nights passed as the old Persian guy continued to roam from field to field in search for the promised treasures buried between the two great mountains under the moon. He traveled all the way to Barcelona. The old Persian guy took a look at his clothing and calloused hands dismayed beyond belief. He wore tattered rags, was poor, wretched, afflicted, impoverished and suffering beyond recognition. In his misery, the old Persian guy threw himself unto a tidal wave never to be seen again.

Back at the home front, the successor to his land was silently leading his camel into the garden to drink. Looking down he spotted an unusual black stone that boasted a reflection resembling the seven hues of the rainbow.

“What is this I see? What a unique and strange specimen of rock. I think I will take it inside and put it on the shelf near my desk. It might make a great paperweight or at best an ornament too grace that drab looking office. What do you think oh wise and faithful friend,” he said as he stroked his camels back.

The ancient Buddhist guy returned to the farm to visit with the new owner of the land. As he walked into the room he immediately noticed the stone on the shelf.

“Oh my! Ah, my friend has returned from his journey a very wealthy man! I haven’t seen anything like this since the very early days of Buddhist ministry bootcamp when we walked the river trail between those very high mountains under the light of the moon. This, my friend, is a diamond of great proportions! Where is our very wealthy hero of the day! He has returned from the great quest, victorious indeed!”

“He is not here,” said the successor to the farm, “I am very sorry to announce this, as there is really not an ideal time to deliver such news. I just received word that our friend died an untimely death on the banks of Barcelona. They found his camel license in an empty satchel by his bucket and shovel.”

The ancient Buddhist guy shook his head, falling to his knees head in hands, “This is very sad news indeed. He had so much going for him—a beautiful family, fertile lands, and many wonderful friends. This is a very tragic happening! I am deeply sorrowed. But, even in the midst of such ill fortune, the question still remains. Where did that precious jewel come from?”

The farmer guy replied, “That’s just a stone I found out there in the garden while taking camel out for a drink.”

“Oh no! You are very much mistaken! I know a diamond when I see one. Come. Let us go unto the fields to the place where you found this rare piece of earth, this congealed drop of sunlight.”

The farmer and the ancient Buddhist guy ran into the orchard, dropped to their knees and began to sift through the soil. As the soft earth fell through their hands, it revealed more of the same black stones with radiant hue in droves. They were, indeed, sitting on acres and acres of diamonds. The farmer and ancient Buddhist guy discovered the diamond mind of Golconda. From this mine came some of the largest and grandest diamonds in the world. They had discovered riches beyond what they could have asked or imagined right at their fingertips.

Third Mouse Blind: What is the moral of the story?

“Had the old Persian guy remained at home and dug in his own cellar or underneath his own wheat fields in his own garden—instead of wretchedness, starvation and death by suicide in a strange land, he would have had acres of diamonds. For every acre of that old farm, yes, every shovel full afterwards revealed gems which since have decorated the crowns of monarchs.” Russell Conwell, Acres of Diamonds

Wow! It’s so amazing how seemingly obvious solutions and possibilities become when we truly appreciate and show gratitude for what is in front of us. When we give attention to the infinite supply of natural resources within, the return that we receive far outweighs the fruit of a mad search into the unknown for the seeds of riches that do not spring from our own personal supply.

Take out those shovels and sifting sheets!

“If you wish to be great at all, you must begin with where you are and what you are.” Russell Conwell, Acres of Diamonds

Our first abstract will feature the popular story and speech written by Russell Conwell, founder of Temple University in Pennsylvania. Russell Herman Conwell was born February 15, 1843 on a farm near South Worthington, MA. He attended Yale University in 1862.

Acres of Diamonds is an amazing story and narrative that embodies the power of personal development, perspective and the vast resources buried within the gardens of our hearts, minds, and spirits. It is a fable; a powerful metaphor for authenticity, stewardship, character, possibility and personal growth. It sets the stage for a series of abstracts I have created to teach, guide, and inspire us throughout our journey to self-awareness and self-mastery in the direction of our “sacred identity”, “self ideal” or “paragon.”

A paragon is an unflawed diamond weighing at least 100 carats. It also represents a model of excellence or a peerless example.

How would you describe your Personal Paragon, or ideal self? These would include character traits, values and other things about the people you most respect and admire. You can even create an imaginary character made up of several parts that you desire to imitate from a number of your mentors. Do what comes natural to you?

Here are some characteristics that would make up my Personal Paragon…

Compassion, Empathy, Integrity, Spirituality, Love, Understanding, Assertiveness, Creativity, Responsibility and Philanthropy

Alright, now your turn…..

Wanna take it to the next level? Grab your shovels and sifting sheets!

Brian Tracy’s Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life CD is fantastic for awareness and cultivation in this area. The Maximum Achievement Affirmation audio is also a great supplement to this amazing process of self-discovery and nurturing. A super + if you ask me. Each is priced less than dinner out at your favorite restaurant!
